Environmental Typography

The environmental typography assignment included creating type out of different objects or non traditional writing tools.

For this project I chose to do a recipe instead of a single word. Kimchi (김치)  is a Korean side dish made from fermented cabbage and other ingredients. In the picture you can see that each ingredient is written with the actual ingredient. The colorfulness of the cutting boards is supposed to symbolize the colorfulness of the traditional Korean dress called Hanbok (한복).
